2009 Chicago Bears Schedule Released

With the start of the 2009 NFL season still 5 months away, the league announced its full schedule last night. The Bears once again will play 5 night games.

• Sunday Night Games: 9/13 at Green Bay; 10/18 at Atlanta; 11/22 vs Philadelphia

• Monday Night Games: 12/28 vs Minnesota

• Thursday Night Games: 11/12 at San Francisco

Furthermore, unlike last year the Bears will play two games at 3pm: 9/20 vs Pittsburgh and 9/27 at Seattle. Why is this important? It gives us more time to recover from our hangovers before we get at it again during the game. The Bears first game is the Sunday Night Game at Green Bay, the Home Opener is 9/20 vs the defending Super Bowl Champs, the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Bears wrap up the regular season on 1/3 at Detroit.
